Definition of alloy steel:

Alloy steel is steel in addition to iron, carbon, adding other alloying elements, called alloy steel.

Classification of alloy steel:

According to the main types of alloying elements, alloy steel can be divided into carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy conversion point steel and other main types.
According to the content of alloying elements, alloy steel can be divided into low alloy steel, medium alloy steel and high alloy steel.

The role of alloy steel:

Structural steel: used in Bridges, buildings and other structural components, including high-strength steel, medium carbon steel, low alloy steel, etc. In addition, it can also be used in bearing materials to improve bearing strength and corrosion resistance.
Tool steel: used for manufacturing tools, tools, etc., the main use is high-speed steel, tungsten steel, Hershi steel and so on. Among them, high-speed steel is characterized by high strength, toughness, hardness, etc., and the tools made by it can be used for high-speed cutting operations.
Automotive steel: alloy steel for automotive parts, including engine bushings, connecting rods, etc., mainly used in deformation steel, tempered steel and so on. Among them, the deformed steel has high strength and good heat resistance, and can be used in the working bushing of the engine. Tempered steel has high wear resistance and flexibility, and can be used in engine connecting rod components.

Advantages of alloy steel:

Corrosion resistance: Alloy steel often contains chromium and other elements, so that it has corrosion resistance.
High temperature strength: Molybdenum, cobalt, titanium and other elements are added to alloy steel, which can improve the high temperature strength and oxidation resistance of steel.
Wear performance: Tungsten, cobalt and other elements are added to alloy steel, which can improve the hardness and wear performance of steel.
Tensile strength and toughness: Adding an appropriate amount of nickel, manganese and other elements to alloy steel can improve the tensile strength and toughness of steel.
